Enroll as a Student

The Urban Assembly School for Law & Justice is a limited unscreened public high school. According to the New York City Department of Education, students cannot be admitted based on grades, test scores, or any other academic or demographic criteria.

Priority is given to students who attend an information session or visit our table at an official NYC high school fair.

How to Apply

To apply to SLJ, students must rank SLJ among their 12 programs of interest by the application deadline of December 1, 2016. If you know for certain that SLJ’s rigorous curriculum, focus on extracurricular enrichment, and college and career preparatory path are for you, you should rank SLJ as your top choice.
