Every student at SLJ has the opportunity to participate in PSAL athletics. SLJ's athletic philosophy is based on the belief that athletic competition is an important part of student growth in many areas such as commitment, teamwork, and effort. We believe that a successful athlete will carry their positive attitude in the form of positive contributions within the SLJ community.

Athletes are expected to conduct themselves with dignity, respect, and sportsmanship, not only in athletic competition, but also in school and their home communities. Athletes must have passing grades in all classes in order to compete.
