The Adams Street Foundation (ASF), located in Brooklyn, New York, is a small, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the students of The Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice (SLJ). It carries out its enrichment and support mission by raising funds and running afterschool and summer programs, including college and career readiness. Incorporated as a non-profit in 2008, ASF resides within the school facility in downtown Brooklyn. ASF has a supportive and engaged Board, which includes representatives from major law firms and corporations, who also provide ASF with financial support through their fundraising efforts.

ASF Seeks High School College Advisor

 

As a member of a collaborative team, the College Advisor provides:

 

  • Comprehensive college application advising;
  • Writing support for personal statements and application supplementals;
  • Financial aid counseling;
  • Guidance of admitted students through the completion of college enrollment
    process;
  • Complete, accurate and timely support of students' applications and documentation.
